Rockets Team Looks Heart Broken As Harden Hits Game Winner For Them

After a huge upset win over the best team in basketball this season, the Houston Rockets didn't celebrate accordingly. James Harden hit the game winning shot with two seconds left as they were trailing by a point. However, the only one that seemed excited was Harden himself. I don't know what this means exactly, but maybe it's just the fact that eventually they are going to lose the series and they would rather just get swept and get it over with quicker or maybe it was because Harden still left two seconds on the clock for the Warriors and the Rockets still felt that they were going to end up losing the game. As everyone saw, the reporters asked Dwight Howard who was featured in this video and asked why he wasn't excited and he just told them to shut up. Throughout the series it hasn't even seemed like the Rockets wanted to even play basketball as they were just getting beat on both ends of the floor and that is even with arguably the best player in the league Steph Curry not playing due to injury. Yesterday, the Rockets went back to their old selves and got absolutely slaughtered at home and are now facing elimination. One slight problem, I don't think they care at all.
Lets go Rockets.

Michigan Running Back Ran Over By A Forklift

Yahoo - MichiganRUNNING back Drake Johnson was sent to the hospital on Wednesday after he was reportedly run over by a forklift while stretching in the university’s indoor track and field building.
Michigan running back Drake Johnson continues to have some of the worst luck as he was severely injured after being ran over by a forklift at track practice where he had become a big part of the team running hurdles. He was a state champion in hurdles in high school and decided to run to help him get in better shape for the upcoming football season.
Johnson tore his ACL before the season started in 2013, came back the next season and had a breakout year before tearing his ACL again in the final game of the season against Ohio State, and now on his way back again he is now ran over by a forklift. Gotta feel for Johnson and hope he has a speedy recovery.

Warriors Win 72

The Warrior improved to 72-9 on the season and did so by beating and ending the San Antonio Spurs 48 game home winning streak. Never thought another team would win 72 games since the Bulls did it back in the day. However, the Warriors have one more game to go and one more game to win to make history and win 73 games in a single season. The Bulls did it with Jordan, and now the Warriors are doing it with Stephen Curry who has been absolutely unreal all season. The Warriors not only have a superstar in Curry but the also have one of the deepest teams in the league and on any given night someone could step up and have a big game.
One more game to go and a chance to get history. It all comes down to Warriors Grizzlies for a chance at 73 wins.

Tough Moment For Boston College Basketball Senior

This video of this Boston College senior basketball player, just about sums up the Eagles season. In the postgame interview following Boston College blowout loss against Florida State in the first round of the ACC Tournament in Washington D.C., William Clifford the 7 foot senior had an emotional and sad moment. When Clifford was asked what his best memory and what he will miss most about Boston College basketball, he proceeded to cry and then say, "Going out to eat". That is a tough one too swallow for Boston College but what kind of answer do you expect after the team just went winless (0-19) in conference play. Sad, but true. Boston College athletics had one if not the worst seasons in both basketball in football as they won a combined 0 games in conference play. After this season they don't even belong in division 1 athletics anymore as they were a complete embarrassment.
The funniest part about it is how when Boston College did go out to eat at chipotle they got E-coli just a tough one to swallow for BC. On the bright side things can only go up from here for them.

Holly Holm Put To Sleep

Holly Holm was in the spotlight for a little bit and was one of the hottest topics in women's fighting after her win over Ronda Rousey. Over the weekend Holm fought Meisha Tate and it was a tremendous fight with shots being thrown one after another at each other. This fight was worth the money you had to pay for paper view, as you saw these two fighters leave it all out there. Literally, the only way you were gonna stop Holm was to put her to sleep and make her stop fighting. That is just what Tate did, as she choked Holm out and literally put her to sleep. Awesome fight and all the respect in the world to Holm as she lost as a true warrior.
Love the tactic where Holm just threw punches until she couldn't throw anymore, looking good in defeat is something only the greats know how to do and even though she lost this fight she earns a lot of respect from the people watching and other fighters.

Steph Curry Ties The NBA Record For Most 3s In A Game With Game Winner In Overtime

Steph Curry put the league on notice once again as he poured in 46 points and a game winning three pointer from just around half court with .6 seconds left in overtime. That three was one of many as he went on to hit 12 threes which ties the NBA record for most 3s in a single game. A game where the Thunder led the whole game except for a few moments was single handily taken away by Steph Curry as no one in the gym could stop him from making three after three after three. In a season where the Warriors have had the best start in NBA history through February, they are led by arguably the best player in the game right now as every night he is must see television. Curry has already broken the record for most three pointers in a single season this year and their is still plenty of basketball to play before the season is over. It seems like every night he is good for at least 40 points. We all witnessed that again on Saturday as they got by the Thunder 121-118 on Curry's shoulders. Here is some of his ridiculous threes down the stretch that won the Warriors the game

Girls Basketball Team Wins 108-1

In Cleveland Ohio, the Gilmour girls basketball team recorded a win this past Wednesday over Northeast Ohio Prep in a Division III North Ridgeville Sectional semifinal. However it wasn't just any win, the Gilmour girls team caught national headlines because of the final score of this game; 108-1. Winning by 107 points and only allowing a free throw to drop in as the other teams only point. When Gilmour's coach was asked about the game he said, "Our intent was to not run anything up, and we took steps not to disrespect our opponent." "They went 0-28 from the field and 1-4 from the free throw line. We let them shoot."Shocking reaction from the coach, and honestly I liked how he had absolutely no sympathy for absolutely manhandling the other team. It was honestly the best reaction the winning coach could have given them, if he said something like "They played their hearts out" I would find that more disrespectful to the opposing team because nobody should lose a game 108-1. He told it straight up he said the other team just couldn't make shots and thats not his fault, and felt that his team played the game the right way even though the score might not reflect it. If you just took a glance at the photo above and didn't look at the scoreboard you couldn't tell what honestly happened in this game or who was the winning team. Absolutely no emotions being shown from either side. Lastly, another thing that shocks me the most was that it wasn't like they were playing an awful team, they were in the playoffs playing in the sectional semifinal game. Just mind blowing how the team who lost this game even made it that far.
