Ronda Rousey is Overrated

This past week Ronda Rousey got absolutely demolished by Holly Holm and knocked out in the second round of the fight. Prior to the fight Rousey was always being blown up by the media saying that she was literally the best athlete in the world. People were saying should would beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight. What an absolute JOKE. There are only a total of like 200 women's MMA fighters, so she was only better than 200 other women who just started the sport. As it showed boxers still rule the world of fighting. Rousey was absolutely helpless. clueless. She was getting ran on in circles and got knocked out getting hit with punches and kicks left and right. Rousey could fight Holm a million more times and every time it would be the same outcome, she would get knocked out.  It just proves that boxers can beat all world class MMA fighters, they are all just too quick. At the end of the day Rousey was the medias biggest creation and was really just all hype. She will have plastic surgery to fix her busted lip from the fight; we will see if Ronda Rousey will ever be back.

3-5 Redskins Playing Loose

Good to see the 3-5 Washington Redskins who sit in 3rd place in the NFC East having a little fun. Nothing like a little fooling around in practice never hurt anybody. Love to see Desean Jackson who hasn't been on the field for most of the season due to injury playing around with Head coach Jay Gruden during practice on wednesday. After watching this video, the Redskins are an ABSOLUTE lock this week to beat the Saints. Gotta love the laid back mentality in D.C. First with Cousins with the classic "YOU LIKE THAT," after the win against Tampa Bay a few weeks prior and now this, plenty of characters out in D.C. who can get this thing turned around.

Hope You Didn't Bet and Have the Under 49 in Giants vs Buccaneers

Hopefully you didn't bet the under in the Giants vs Buccaneers game on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. The under was 49 and those betters who had the under were feeling really good about their chances when the Giants led 26-18 with just seconds remaining on the clock with the Buccaneers at their own 6 yard line. However the game for people who bet the under was far from over as a hook and ladder play backfired and the Buccaneers fumbled the ball and the Giants picked it up and ran it in for a touchdown with no time left on the clock. Leaving the final score at 32-18. The people who had the under 49 probably felt destroyed as the final score left it at 50, so if you had the over you won on a miracle. This is why you don't bet, it's never over till its over.

Mets Season Comes to a Disappointing Close

Unfortunately the New York Mets 2015 season came crashing down on them Sunday at Citi Field. The Kansas City Royals put the nail in the Mets coffin in the top of the 12th inning as they scored five runs to open up a 7-2 lead and thats where it stood as the mets came up short in the World Series after losing game 5. It was a disappointing ending to an amazing season as they played very poorly in the 2015 fall classic. Nonetheless, the 2015 New York Mets were an absolute joy and a fun team to watch as they proved everyone wrong by winning the National League East Division crown over the heavily favored Washington Nationals, then blowing away the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs to win their first National League Pennant in 15 years. Mets fans are heart broken right now but as we look back on the 2015 New York Mets they will always be remember for their incredible season even though they fell just short of the ultimate goal.

Kirk Cosuins FIRED UP

Nothing like some good ole Redskins football. Big man Kirk Cousins was fired up after leading his team from 24-0 down to an improbable comeback, beating the Buccaneers 31-30 on Sunday afternoon. Cousins had the game of his life as he went 33/40 for 317 yards to go along with 4 touchdowns including the game winner with 24 seconds left. Redskins fans can be happy for a week even though they sit at 3-4 they are right in the mix in the NFC East as they are in second place only a game back of the Giants for first. However, all Redskins fans can relax and so can Kirk Cousins. Not to knock Kirk Cousins but he needed the best game of his life to barely get by the lowly Buccaneers, so enjoy it while it lasts because before you know it Cousins will throw 3 picks next week and be back to his old self.

Royals Grounds Crew Kid Gets Pummeled By The Tarp

It was a tough night in Kansas City for not only the Royals, who lost game 1 of the ALDS to the Houston Astros 5-2, but also watching their grounds crew kid get absolutely trampled by the tarp during the rain delay. Its hard not to laugh watching this but you do kinda feel bad for the kid. It didn't seem like it was a laugh it off situation as it appeared like this kid actually got hurt. Looks like the poor kid tore his ACL, worst part about it was nobody really stopped the other guys from rolling the tarp and the tarp was rolled over his whole body to his head as you could see the kid screaming in pain. Props to the kid for taking the hit like a true champ and hopefully better days are ahead for him. I can imagine this kid is praying for another rain delay so he can redeem himself, Ill be rooting for him.
