Week three in the  NFL was a wild one on Sunday.  We were treated to some good close games, but also a fair share of blowouts occurred this week. The games started on Thursday night as we saw division rivals in the NFC East go head to head as the Giants played host to the Redskins. Most Giants fans were satisfied as they easily handled the Redskins and grabbed their first win of the season. On Sunday we had a full slate of 1 o'clock games which were pretty good to watch as we saw a Steelers vs Rams, Ravens vs Bengals, Raiders vs Browns, and a Colts vs Titans all be decided in the final few minutes. Steelers defense made a huge 4th down stop to win the game, Colts and Andrew Luck came storming back to get by the Titans, Bengals got a monster game from wideout AJ Green, Panthers got an interception to win the game with the Saints driving, and the Raiders got a huge interception from veteran and future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson to beat the Browns. In the 4 o'clock games we saw a couple beatdowns as the Cardinals absolutely slaughtered the 49ers 47-7 and the Seahawks shutout the winless Bears 26-0.
Through week 3 of the NFL season we have some surprises in the league. Good surprising starts for multiple teams including the Falcons, Panthers, and Raiders are off to great starts that nobody predicted. However, some teams have started terribly like the Colts, Eagles, and Seahawks who were all predicted by some to be playoff contenders. Lastly, it is great that the NFL is back in full swing again and can't wait until we find out how the rest of the season plays out.
